experimenting with the idea of bringing “the cloud” to a physical form. We keep a large amount of information about ourselves online via “the cloud”. So much that an image of ourselves and our personalities could be somewhat accurately drawn based on the information available online. The video displays a 3d person flying around aimlessly, superimposed on a video of a swimming pool which was delivered all the way from egypt through “the cloud”. The print on the ground is a photograph of clouds frozen in time and in the fishtank there is water and an ultrasonic mistmaker that creates clouds from the water. All of these objects are enclosed in a metal cage that while sturdy and reliable also makes the work easy to walk through.
